The following table shows the recommended allowable ratings for propeller shaft ends for low horsepower engines. Ratings are based on the formula: ALLOWABLE RATING = RATED TAKE-OFF PROPELLER SHAFT TORQUE IN FOOT POUNDS X CYLINDER BORE IN INCHES.
