The objectives of this powerpoint presentation were: to introduce the issue of arseniccontamination in Nova Scotia, including the groundwater arsenic problem inNova Scotia, and the provincial Arsenic managementplan; and, to investigate arsenic removal on watertreatment residual solids (WTRSs), including WTRSsproviding an option for Arsenictreatment in Nova Scotia, batch adsorption experiments with groundwater,column adsorption experiments withgroundwater, andcompare adsorbents with one another as far as determining which residual type is optimal. Methodology included batch adsorption and columnexperiments, and Langmiur Isotherm results are provided. Includes figures.
